Make a video for your sister. Have each family member and close friend sit down and talk about their experiences, offer advice for the new mom. Have your parents talk as well as yourself share your feelings about becomin grandparents/Aunt. Have them share stories about what it was like when your sister was born, etc… Also give her the scrapbook.
Have each person share a little bit about their lives so your niece has some idea of her family background/ancestary
Keep the scrapbook idea, but have people write down their iwshes for your sisters daughter. What they hope for in her life, how much she is loved, how much her arrival is anticipated, etc.

I think you should make her a hairbow holder. Go one e-bay to look at them and get ideas. They are so cute, you can but her name on them and that will be really special. I make them for all my friends and they go crazy over them. You can buy the supplies cheap at wal-mart. Hope that helps

You could make a Christmas Memories book.

My friend made one for me when I got married. She used Christmas staionary and made pages with that and stickers.
Using the computer she made sections for:
What we did Christmas eve, Christmas day, favorite gifts, favorite card, what we ate….etc.

You could do something like that, but more for your new niece.

The scarpbook is a cute idea. Maybe you could ask your parents to lend you some moeny and get some clothes for her or some toys.

Get a package of her bottles or one individually that she has on her registry. Then buy a paint marker from the craft section of the store. Decorate the bottle. You could also do the same for like baby wipes…decorate the wipes. You could even hot glue something on the baby wipe container. If you’re not much into decorating, you can pull examples off of the ones they sale on EBAY. They are really cute. Just put in personalized baby wipes on Ebay Search…and it will pull everything up. Good luck! People buy these everywhere for shower gifts…but instead you could make your own and not have to spend alot of money-which is completely understandable. I was 14 once too, so don’t feel bad. No one expects you to have money to buy something really expensive. She’ll love you for taking the time to make it special! I know I would love a gift like this.

The scrap book is a wonderful idea, when you’re putting it together..put in pictures of your sister growing up if you can, and that way they can always compare how alike they look, and if your sister hands down the scrapbook to her daughter, she’ll always have pics of her mom as well.

Other than the scrap book, how about a "first christmas" ornament or a family ornament with all of their names on it? That is if your neice is actually born BEFORE xmas. You could always write a poem on how your sister is now a mom, I’m sure you can get ideas from the computer about how to word it.

There is always gift cards. I’m sure she’ll have more than enough clothes and such given to her. If all else fails, give her a little coupon book that you make up stating..you’ll do diaper changes, free babysitting (within limits) help her w/ house work (while she’s getting used to being mommy) etc.

I think a scrapbook is a wonderful idea. I have another idea but it would cost you some money, not a whole lot but some. You could make a basket for her and include in the basket things like Q-tips, lotions, shampoos, diaper cream, wipes etc. All of those things you can get fairly cheap and its a gift that would be very useful!

The scrapbook is a great idea, so is a creatively made book of babysitting coupons. You could also include chore things that you could help her out with like cleaning, making dinner and stuff. She'll appreciate your time more than anything you could buy her.
